Our Staff

Hi, my name is Ashley. I’ve been working at SWAEC since 2017. I really enjoy working with animals and hope to pursue a career in this field. When I’m not working, I volunteer at a dog rescue and cuddle with my cat, Onyx. I look forward to helping you and your pets and learning more along the way.

My name is Cheryle. I have been a Vet Tech for 11 years, mostly in Louisiana. I have recently relocated here to St. George. I love what I do; helping animals feel better always puts a smile on my face.

I have been working as a vet tech at the emergency clinic since March of 2013. I worked with Dr. Bracken at Animal Medical Hospital from June of 2011 until August 2014. It has been a unique experience learning under several different doctors here at the emergency clinic and I am always excited to learn more. I just finished my Bachelors of Science degree from Dixie State University. My husband, son, daughter, and I live with our mustached cat and an energetic Australian Shepherd.

HI, my name's Lexi. I've been working with animals for a few years now. I started with an internship at St. George Veterinary Hospital then worked at St. George Pet Palace as a kennel tech for a little over a year until I got the opportunity to work here. I love helping animals so I am glad to be able to help yours through the good and the bad!

Hi, my name is Liana. I have been working at the SWAEC since April of 2015. I‘m grateful to have the opportunity to be with your loved pets and family during both the good and bad times and hope to help you have as good of an experience at the emergency clinic as possible. Before starting at SWAEC I worked at The Animal Tender Pet Resort as a receptionist, kennel technician and a groomer. I’m a student at DSU and currently have 2 dogs at home.

Hi, my name is Matthew. I am one of the technicians that will be working on and helping treat your furry friends. I have been a tech since 2004. I started as a technician assistant and kennel attendant, but moved up fast. I completed Veterinary Assistant training programs in Southern California, where I am from. I’ve lived here in St. George since 2015 now with my family. I enjoy snowboarding, surfing, fishing, shooting, hiking, and spending time with my amazing family, friends, and pets.

Hi, my name is Morgan. I have been working with animals since 2014. I am a student at Penn Foster College and I plan on learning as much as I can here at SWAEC. I have a deaf Shepherd/hound mix and she has taught me how to adapt and love all the challenges that come with her.

My name is Stephanie and I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician for over 20 years. I moved to S. Utah from Colorado. I love taking care of animals and it’s all I have ever wanted to do! I am mom to both 2- and 4-legged babies that I enjoy spending time with.

I moved here from Colorado. I am new to veterinary medicine but love animals and helping their people!
